Effective date: 30 October 2026
These Terms of Use cover the HRA Overseas website, public information, planning tools and client workspace. HRA Overseas is the service brand referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”. Contact enquiry@hraoverseas.com for website or service questions. The Privacy Policy at /privacy explains information handling.
1. Website use and separate service agreements
Use the website lawfully and read the conditions relevant to the features you choose. If you do not agree with these terms, do not create an account or submit a service request; contact us to discuss an alternative. Browsing information, submitting a form or saving a listing does not by itself create a paid consultancy engagement or authorise an application to a government, employer or institution.
A specific engagement requires an agreed written service scope, the parties' identities, responsibilities, fees and any applicable cancellation or refund conditions. That agreement governs the agreed service if its specific provisions differ from these general website terms, subject to mandatory law. Marketing statements do not replace the written scope.
2. Who may use an account
Independent accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or over who can enter into an agreement. Parents or lawful guardians should contact HRA before arranging services involving a child. Use your own identity and current contact details. Keep your password and email verification codes private, do not share another person's account, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Staff accounts and protected workspaces may be used only within the access granted to them.
3. Accurate information and documents
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and current information and for telling the counsellor about material changes. Upload only material you own or have permission or lawful authority to share. Do not submit altered credentials, false statements, another person's confidential records without authority, malware or unlawful content. Keep copies of important submissions and check names, dates, translations and declarations before approving an application. HRA's review does not remove your responsibility for declarations made in your name.
4. Guidance, calculators and the assistant
Guides, checklists, comparisons, calculators and assistant replies support preparation and discussion. Results depend on the information, assumptions and rules used and may omit route-specific exceptions. They do not establish legal eligibility, document authenticity or an official score and are not an automated decision about your application.
Immigration, admission, recruitment and professional-licensing requirements change. Verify the relevant authority's current requirements and obtain an appropriately authorised professional review where needed before filing, accepting an offer or incurring significant expense. External AI and voice are optional features and can produce inaccurate answers. Do not rely on an assistant response alone for an important decision.
5. No guaranteed outcome or government affiliation
Visas, permits, admission, scholarships, jobs, licences, processing times and travel permission are decided by the responsible authority, institution or employer. HRA cannot guarantee an approval, invitation, appointment, salary, admission, job offer or decision date. The website is an independent service portal; its use of a destination name, visa name or public authority link does not imply government endorsement, an official partnership or authority to make a government decision.
6. Listings, estimates and third-party services
Job, course, institution, salary, tuition, ranking, intake and cost information may be examples or dated snapshots. Confirm availability, the actual employer or awarding institution, sponsorship, recognition, fees and deadlines with the relevant source and your counsellor. A saved item or enquiry does not reserve a vacancy, course place or appointment. Third-party websites and services, including WhatsApp, have their own terms and privacy practices. Do not send money or identity documents to an unverified recipient on the strength of a listing alone.
7. Service requests, fees and refunds
The website accepts enquiries and service requests and does not collect online payments, card details or banking credentials. A “free counselling” or “free profile check” invitation covers the stated initial discussion; additional work must be explained and agreed separately.
Before any off-site paid engagement, obtain a written description of deliverables, the service provider's identity, fees and taxes, payment milestones, government or third-party costs, cancellation conditions and the applicable refund process. These website terms do not create a universal refund schedule or make every fee non-refundable. Government and third-party refund rules can differ from HRA's agreed service terms. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
8. Appointments, messages and communications
Available appointment windows can change. Review the booking time and displayed timezone, and cancel or request a change promptly if you cannot attend. Enquiries, requested follow-ups and service communications may use the contact channels you provide, according to your choices and the Privacy Policy. Marketing email requires a separate subscription and offers an unsubscribe process. The website does not provide SMS messaging. A saved enquiry or queued email confirms receipt by the application, not a guaranteed email arrival or an approved application.
9. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, obtain another client's records, interfere with the service, impersonate a person, submit unsolicited advertising, or misuse forms and messaging. Reasonable security testing must be agreed with the operator before it affects the service or other users.
HRA branding and original website materials, and third-party marks and materials, remain the property of their respective owners. You may use guides and downloads for your own lawful planning, subject to any stated licence. Do not represent copied branding or materials as your own or resell private client materials. You retain your rights in material you submit and permit HRA to use it only as needed for the requested service and the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Availability, suspension and account closure
Maintenance, hosting faults, network issues and external providers may interrupt access. Keep independent copies of essential documents and deadlines; contact HRA if a time-sensitive request cannot be submitted. We may restrict access reasonably where needed for security, misuse, legal obligations or a material breach of these terms, and explain the action where lawful and practicable. You may ask to close an account or end follow-up by emailing enquiry@hraoverseas.com. Closure does not automatically erase records that must lawfully be retained or cancel a separate service agreement; those matters are handled under the Privacy Policy and that agreement.
11. Responsibility and legal rights
Each party remains responsible for its own acts, omissions and obligations under applicable law and any agreed service scope. The website cannot make a third party's decisions or prevent every outage or error. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses fraud or deliberate misconduct, or removes mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory rights. Any limitation for a separately engaged service must be stated in its agreement and be lawful; this website does not impose an invented compensation cap or blanket waiver of your rights.
12. Questions, complaints and applicable law
Email enquiry@hraoverseas.com with the account or case reference, a description of the issue and the outcome you seek. Do not include a password or unnecessary identity documents. We will review the matter and identify the appropriate service contact. You retain access to competent courts, consumer forums and regulatory complaint processes under applicable law. Indian law applies to the website service, subject to any mandatory law that protects you and any lawful terms of a separate engagement. These terms do not impose an exclusive city, mandatory private arbitration or a waiver of lawful remedies.
13. Updates to these terms
The effective date is shown above. Changes apply prospectively to website use and do not silently rewrite a signed service agreement or remove existing statutory rights. Where a material change needs separate notice or acceptance, it will be requested. Read the current Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before making a new request, and contact enquiry@hraoverseas.com if you need clarification.
